Metabolic effects of the liraglutide: a discussion of the results of clinical observations

Objective : to discuss the features of use drug liraglutide for treatment patients with obesity, analyze metabolic parameters dynamic and difficulties that arise during therapy, based on our own clinical observations. Materials methods article provides an analysis observations aged 54 47 years who received therapy exgenous constitutional obesity II degree. According examination results, both showed hyperinsulinemia insulin resistance signs, lipid metabolism disorders. There were no episodes acute pancreatitis in past. Heredity medullary thyroid cancer is not burdened, status normal. Dose escalation recommended a schedule 0.6 mg per week. Results liraglutide, under observation experienced gradual progressive decrease body weight against background appetite amount food consumed. In dynamics, there was tendency normalize initial disorders: hyperinsulinemia, carbohydrate metabolismdisorders profile. Conclusion results indicate effectiveness only achieve target loss indicators, but also correct disorders status.
